Holiday & Travel Shows Return To Manchester & Glasgow
The UK's leading consumer Holiday & Travel Shows will be returning to Manchester Central from 11th - 13th January 2008 and the Glasgow
Holiday & Travel Show will be held at the SECC from 18th - 20th January 2008 (opening times 10 am - 5 pm).
The shows, now celebrating their 16th year, are a fantastic day out for the family and will feature more than 800 exhibitors from over 100
countries. Packed with exciting and interactive exhibitions from tour operators and travel agents, tourist information organisations and places
of special interest, the shows will also feature children's entertainment including; face painting, Marco the Clown entertainer, sand pits to
play in and deck chairs for parents to sit back and relax in.
This year's shows will also feature the new Travel Temptations Zone where exhibitors will be showing off the wealth of cultural, musical and
culinary delights from their regions or countries. The zone promises to give visitors a fantastic opportunity to experience hands-on the
different cultures through music, singing and dancing, art and craft displays as well as regional food and wine tasting.
In addition, the all new Travel Talks Theatre will give visitors the chance to listen first hand to experts who will be sharing their travel
insights and ideas, as well being on hand to answer questions about specific holiday destinations.
